Join Dana Cowin—former editor-in-chief of Food & Wine magazine and host of the podcast Speaking Broadly—as she interviews brilliant and powerful women about their research, tastes, and careers.

How has the marketing around breakfast foods contributed to gender stereotypes through the decades? Dana Cowin talks to two experts on marketing and the food industry: Emily Elyse Miller, is the founder/CEO of next-generation cereal brand OffLimits and author of Phaidon's BREAKFAST: The Cookbook featuring 380 traditional breakfast recipes from around the world. Emily Contois is assistant professor of media studies at the University of Tulsa and author of Diners, Dudes and Diets.
